Student Leadership / Student Voice

We believe students are central to shaping our school culture. Through leadership opportunities, student forums, and feedback channels, learners at Montrose Bay High actively contribute to decision-making. Our Student Leadership Team works collaboratively with staff to lead initiatives, represent peers, and foster a sense of belonging and pride.

TAS – Learning Commission

In May 2025, schools from across Tasmania came together with partners from the Education Services Australia team to shape the rhythm and design of the inaugural Tasmanian Learning Commission (TAS LC). The group drew heavily on the strengths of established commissions across Australia and layered in local insight about what would work best for Tasmania balancing school calendars, student confidence-building, and system engagement.
